- Guide rail sizing, maximum spans, seismic calculations
- Designs for guide rail brackets
- Designs and sizing for pit steel, machine beams, overhead sheave beams, and their connections
- Basement and offset machine rooms
- Custom platforms and car frames
Experience:
3 years at a major elevator manufacturer in their Project Engineering departments creating drawings, engineering calculations, bills of materials, and detail drawings for manufacturing and installation of custom hydraulic and traction applications.
10 years at an elevator consulting company as senior designer then department manager of the Design Department.
13 years as a VT consultant for special projects including museums, offices, airports, and super-tall buildings.
